Geoff took over the role of Chair of UK Tram in 2012 and believes that through collaborative working, sharing best practice and using the expertise across organisations we can provide best value solutions which can help solve the transport challenges in our cities and towns.
As well as being the Chair of UK Tram, Geoff is also Vice-President of UITP and President of EMTA.
Geoff’s most recent post was with Centro, he joined them in 2006, bringing his 25 years’ experience in the finance, rail and public transport sectors. He took up the position as Chief Executive to develop transport solutions aimed at encouraging people out of their cars and transforming the West Midlands cities and towns by attracting investment in Transport.
During his time at Centro, Geoff was a driving force in setting up and instigating a £1.3bn transport package underpinning economic regeneration in the West Midlands. Geoff stepped down from his role in December 2015 ahead of the merger of the West Midlands authorities and now works independently for GI consulting.
